Opali is a very sweet 2 year old Black Multi Generation NON SHEDDING CURLY Labradoodle girl looking for her FUREVER home where she can spend the rest of her life being a very loved couch potato.
She is basicaslly a rescue, she was rehomed to us because due to circumstancesher previousd and only family were unable to socialize her to people and indoor life. She has had no training but is very smart and with the right family will learn quickly. She has had no training walking on leash but does not pull and basically walks gently.

She is up to date on all shots, flea treatment, worming and is microchipped but she will need to be fixed. I insist she goes to a family with another dog, she is very happy and thrives best with other dogs, she will learn from them as well as adjust quicker to her new home learning from your other dog. She LOVES running and playing outside in the yard but will need further help adjusting to indoor life.

Please only consider her if you have the time and patience to help her to adjust to her new home and family, some adjust quicker than others. She will require time and lots of loving patience, she most likely will not come up to greet you when you visit to meet her, but in time she will be glad to see you, though it may take weeks to months.

I include the following information about kennel life, not becasue she has lived a kennel life but her responce to newness is the same, I just want her new family to be aware of how much love and patience she will require. She has been here with me for several months and still every once in a while she will avoid me but always comes around, she can’t resist belly rubs.

PLEASE READ:
Kennel life: We live on 16 acres and our breeders live in packs of 2 or 3 in indoor/outdoor kennels. The inside kennel space is tiled 3 foot by 5 foot with a doggy door leading to either a 50 foot by 50 foot or a 80 foot by 30 play yard.

They have full access to play yards, baby pools/ containers, toys and other dogs 24 hours a day, they are NEVER locked in any cages or containers. They enjoy the freedom to come in or out whenever they want, though they usually prefer it outdoors and enjoy running and playing with the other packs near them.

With this being said it usually takes them time to adjust to living indoors where they are NOT able to go in and out at will, it may also take them time to learn to enjoy being a couch potato. As well as being an indoor family member or being on a leash for walks, but with patience they usually adjust fairly quickly.

I mention all of this because when a dog goes from kennel life to transitioning to indoor family life they may at first seem timid and sometimes even scared, it is NOT because they have ever been abused in any way, it is simply because absolutely everything in their world just changed. So it is important to allow them the time to adjust to all the newness, most adjust quickly but some faster than others.
